I'm very satisfied with the outcome of it and the attention to detail, including the little Pebbles around the edges.“

1010 E Katella Ave, Anaheim“Sam and Peter are nice and professional. Sam helped us with a design, which we appreciated. On the day of the appointment, Peter came with his 7 crew, I was surprised they had that many crew to work on my front yard. Peter was flexible and accommodating with a couple of changes. The crew worked very hard and completed the project in 2 days, which is what they promised me. The front yard looks so beautiful with artificial grass and concrete. They did an amazing job. We are very pleased and very happy with the quality of work they did. Now my front yard always looks green all the time with no maintenance. Several of our neighbours gave us two thumbs up and told us how nice the artificial grass looks.“

17875 Von Karman Ave Suite 150, Irvine“Jan 2024. Oasis Turf and Hardscape (OT&H) started a relationship with us by having a friendly door-to-door rep ask if we had any turf or hardscape projects in mind. We were planning to add a garden planter to our front yard, and so the project began. Steven D. visited us to identify options and we picked out a beautiful stone, locally sourced in Fontana, and the work began two days later. Eric and his partner picked up the stone and were on time to start the job. They explained what they were going to do and went to work. Their work was impeccable, constantly measuring to ensure the stones were level. They had to cap two grass-type sprinkler heads and move one to the middle of the planter to enable a change to shrub sprinkler heads, for inside the planter. Eric and his partner completed a very beautiful planter, that will last as long as our home. Thank you Oasis Turf and Hardscape, especially Eric and team!“

7272 Walnut Ave, Buena Park“We're very happy with the complete remodel of our pool done by Brian's Pool Plastering. The pool was built about 25 years ago and very little maintenance had been done by the previous owners, so we decided to do a complete remodel. I got 4 bids for the job, and the range was pretty wide. Brian's Pool Plastering wasn't the cheapest but it wasn't the most expensive either. I rarely take the cheapest bid anyway on projects - I want quality work and that costs money. Rusty came out and measured everything and answered my endless questions about options for pool equipment, plaster and StoneScapes. I asked a lot of questions about the order of things and how it would all come together. He was patient and answered everything. He also had the bid to be within a day and answered more questions by text quickly. One of the things that was important to me was that the work would proceed evenly - meaning there wouldn't be weeks-long gaps between people working on the pool. Brian made sure there was someone working every day and they showed up when they said they would. They moved quickly but thoroughly, and the tile guys even did a few things I hadn't thought of that made the pool look great. I thought it would take a few months to finish - they finished in 30 days and we love the result. Highly recommended.“

15512 Graham St, Huntington Beach“I rarely give five stars as nobody’s perfect, but Pacific Breeze comes too close to deny them a 5th star. The business ethics and acumen of this company exceeded my expectations, which are very high. Perhaps it’s their military background (it’s a veteran owned business) and I love supporting our veterans. Their team is “all the things” . . . creative, polite, professional, and flexible! They're all the things you want in a contractor, trust me on that.“

18195 E McDurmott Suite B, Irvine“I’ve been wanting to redo our patio for ages, and after seeing the amazing work West Hills did for our neighbor, I knew I had to give them a call. From the moment we got in touch, their team was responsive and knowledgeable. They took our ideas and gave us valuable suggestions on design and materials that fit our budget. What stood out to me was how clean and organized the crew was during the entire process. You’d barely know they were working, except for the progress that seemed to appear overnight! It’s been about three months since the work was completed, and we’ve already hosted several BBQs. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how much of a difference the new patio makes. Worth every penny, and we will definitely contact them again for future projects! Thank you“

225 N Broadway #203, Santa Ana“We read a funny review that said if you were looking at yelp for recommendations on a backyard contractor/landscaper, you didn't get any good recommendations from your friends and family. In our case, this was partially true. We got around 3-4 quotes from qualified contractors/landscapers, and a recommendation from family. The 3-4 quotes from qualified contractors/landscapers were a joke; one quoted something like 60% above the verbal estimate, the other stopped responding when we had a few snowball questions on the estimate, and one literally told us to put plants on top of a concrete foundation. I think what he meant was to let some weeds grow in between the pavers. Lastly, the worst was the family recommendation, which you'd think would not be the case. Not all was lost, however, since some design ideas from discussing with the first few contractors filtered into our final design for our backyard, which I would recommend if you are the DIY type on coming up with a landscape design. We made an appointment with Will to come by to discuss. He was prompt, courteous and made a real effort to get to know us and hear out our ideas/plans while making some light recommendations of his own. It also helped that their bid was within our budget and very competitive. When we were close to pulling the trigger on selecting CCC, we noticed a discrepancy on licensing that we needed clarified. Will did no hesitate to put us in touch with Chris, the owner, who clarified what we noticed immediately, and appreciated the forthrightness. We were put on the list to begin 3-4 weeks after signing and making the deposit payment. Sean was assigned as our PM and we were glad we got him. Not only was he on top of every aspect of the project, but he steered us into making some better decisions, and ultimately, save us a little money in the process. Texts, emails, etc were all returned very fast, and I didn't ever feel like I was chasing Sean or CCC to get anything done (which seems to be a common thing in many contractor/landscaper reviews I read). Some notable things that I'll highlight during the process and in closing the project out were: - That CCC started and ended mostly on time. - That CCC allowed us to use our own design, help refine it through suggestions, and didn't try and take any shortcuts with what we wanted. - That CCC was flexible in allowing us to choose some of the materials (pavers, lighting) and did not limit our options. - That CCC worked w/ us to add or remove line items, well after the contract was signed, to allow flexibility in the project for things we did not use or things we needed that we didn't factor in. - That CCC provided written contract changes, or agreed through emails, etc when changes did occur to keep the paperwork straight, so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings later. - When there was a mistake made in the pricing of one of the contract line items, that was in our favor, CCC honored the price agreed and did not try and upcharge me for the difference. - That CCC cleaned up, put away, and were generally consummate professionals while onsite. We love our backyard, and we are very glad we went with CCC in the end. One other thing also: these guys do massive, large dollar value jobs. But they also did ours, and they didn't look down on us or treat us any differently than the million dollar jobs they may have been working at the same time. Now, that's respect and commitment. I would recommend Chris, Sean and the CCC team for any job, big or small, and they would be the first ones we'd call if we have future home improvement projects. Thanks again guys. Side note: Don't be a Danielle Downer below, and be realistic on what can and can't be done, especially given timelines around holidays. Side Side Note: The plants were bought at H&H Nursery, the planting of the plants were done by Armstrong Garden Center of LB (off 10th street), and the mulch/stones were supplied by SiteOne Supply (in Los Alamitos). All other items were done by CCC (concrete, paver“

“If a review could merit 6 stars, H2Xero would get it. I interviewed four firms to xeriscape our front yard. H2Xero based in Westminster, Orange County was the pick. There was an initial consultation fee, but it was reasonable, and applied toward the job if we hired them. Both owner Tina and her designer Jen, who eventually helmed this project, inspected our front and back yard carefully, took tons of notes, and listened, listened, listened! Even more crucially for me, although H2Xero are a landscape design firm, for this job H2Xero was willing to manage the contractor's installation work. That was worth its weight in gold. Finally, Jen's plan and plant choices complied with Long Beach's Lawn2Garden rebate program. It took three months to kill the 1,400 sq. ft. front lawn. Actual installation took just six days -- completely astonishing for such a complex plan. Over 60 feet of decomposed granite pathways curve around two gentle hills. A partly shaded sitting area with bench overlooks a realistic, functional stream bed with a french drain under the garage's rain gutter, which channels rainwater away from the house and back into the landscape, totally smart. 70 feet of curbside strip, planted to be walkable. Another 70 foot strip up the property line toward the house, and two small beds by the front door. A few large boulders scattered on the hills to match the stream bed. Jen drew up the large-scale, professional plans the contractor needs, also acceptable to Long Beach's rebate program. We went over and over her helpful color printout of the chosen water-wise plants palette, highlighting oranges and purples, ornamental grasses and statement aloes. Jen sourced all the plants, patiently emailing back and forth with non-texter me re: plants the nurseries had, and first and second choices. She also incorporated cuttings of succulents I already had, plus an aloe dug out of our back yard, which saved us some money. When the large, colorful boulders arrived, contractor Jose Partida's gardener company's workers helped me pick perfect spots to feature them. From useless, flat patch of grass to delightful ecosystem! The stream bed is so colorful and lovely, the mix of rough and rounded stones so natural that it feels like hiking in the San Gabriels. The well-tamped DG pathways are wheelchair-usable. Shady new seating lets us enjoy our front yard, which we never did before. Best of all is the carefully artistic plant PLACEMENT -- from flower colors to types of foliage -- that catches your eye and pleasantly leads it around and around the whole property. Our yard seems so much bigger than before! Clumps of deer grass, grama grass and amusing "Cousin It" shrubs catch every breeze (our delighted cat thinks the swaying grass was planted just for him). The curves of the granite walkways and meanders of the stream bed are highly graceful, they lead the eye down the street, and just seem to expand the experience of being in this beautiful front yard. The bark mulch has a pleasant, woodsy aroma when watered. Cars actually slow down when they pass our house. I've gotten tons of thumbs-up from neighbors I never knew. My husband parks by the curb after his long commute home, walks the gracefully curved footpath "over the river and through the woods," and arrives at our front porch smiling. That's the best thing. Or maybe it's the gently hilly, magically better views looking out through our master bedroom and bathroom windows. Who knew that ripping out a boring lawn for a drought-tolerant xeriscape could add so much enjoyment to the inside of your home?! I am happy to give H2Xero Landscape my highest recommendation. Ultimate compliment? I paid them MORE than their final invoice. Jen's thorough prep, hard work and above-and-beyond managing of the contractor (not even her job), merited more.“
