Trash, illegal to guarantee that you will save your clients 97%. This is a clear violation of circular 230. Unethical, and any intelligent person would run quickly away from a firm who does, while simultaneously shaping all your copy on the site to create trust by referencing your alleged religious core. No real firm would resort to such drastic bold faced lies and misinformation!

Do not trust this business. Thet burned me fot over $5000.00 I sent them a packet with all of my returns and sensitive information and they have done nothing for me. Ive left message after message and no one will answer or return my call. They are thieves in my opinion. Please do not fall for their smooth talking salesman. Im sooooo disappointed

This review is a long time coming. Ryan has been doing my taxes the past few years and got me back on track from the first year he did them. As an independent contractor, it's hard to find someone who really knows their stuff and doesn't just want to get you out the door. He's super nice, easy to deal with and always fair in his pricing. I have never trusted anyone more.. I recommend him to everyone! Thank you Ryan, for saving me with my taxes!!!

I started using Southcoast in 2019 and only this year did I think I started to make some progress. Southcoast was receiving copies of all documentation the IRS sent out and they would contact me with next steps and updates. The last few months I’ve had no phone calls or emails returned. I am now using another tax attorney that states that Southcoast must have removed themselves as Power of Attorney for me. I now have a lien from the IRS and Southcoast has been unresponsive. I did reach out to Ryan on July 7th and spoke with him, but was not aware that they were no longer acting as my attorney. I was working with Alyson and Ryan and after all is said and done they did not resolve my case and I still owe the IRS thousands of dollars. I am now working to get a full refund through my bank and was able to get my first payments returned to me through USAA, but the remaining $2,275 . I realize now the fastest way to get a response is to actually write this review. Maybe SCTR should take the time they are trolling reviews and responding to actually focus that time on customers. I know have to start all over in the process with the new company Timberland out of Denver and so far they have been great. South Coast Tax Resolution PLEASE REFUND the money I spent since I have now had to pay the same amount to another company.

I'm 58 and working with this company was the worst experience ever. I first contacted them in 07-20 and had a phone consultation with Randy Richardson. He asked me a few questions about my income and expenses then assured me that I "easily qualified" for the "fresh start program" the IRS offered. Foolishly, I believed him and initiated services. Communication with their office was extremely poor from the start. They rarely answered their phone and almost never returned phone calls. Whenever I was able to talk to someone I was given conflicting information. Months would pass with absolutely no progress on my case. Upon confronting the owner, Ryan he blamed this lack of progress on the pandemic. But upon challenging him further, he finally said he "couldn't apologize enough". He said it had been a "crazy year". After numerous and lengthy delays, I filed a complaint with the AG's office in CA. Well, that got their attention but unfortunately there was still no substantive action. Fast forward to Spring of this year and ultimately, nearly three full years later the offer in compromise for the IRS was denied for insufficient information. So after paying thousands to this incompetent company and waiting 32 months I was back to square one. They have the audacity to advertise on Christian radio only to rob you blind. It's beyond unprofessional and certainly not Christian. I've started over now with a tax attorney here in Ohio and their staff had a new offer in compromise submitted within a few weeks. There is just no excuse whatsoever for the way this company operates. Avoid them completely.phone calls.

It is with great sadness that I write this review. I have been with this company since 2018 when I received my IRS audit outcome. I owed the IRS $50,000+. In 2016 my daughter suffered a TBI and I set up a go-fund-me. I had to close my practice to care for her. South Coast/Ryan Born assured me that I would be able to get an Offer In Compromise. I was denied 3x. This has been going on for 5 years. Every year my tax returned was kept. Ryan went MIA on many occasions. I gave him every opportunity. I recently hired a tax accountant. This was another $3000. I would now not qualify for an offer in compromise. I ended up paying the entire amount plus the costs with SC Tax and my new accountant. I reached backed out to Ryan and asked for some money back. He substantiated that I had in fact paid my entire debt. He said I would hear from him by Friday, March 3rd with a refund amount. Seven emails later and today is May 25th, 2023...NOTHING. I wasted so much time, money, and energy with this company. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Ryan and his team are incredible helpful and really take the time to make you feel like a client and family!
