Kristina Tansavatdi, MD | Tansavatdi Facial Plastic Surgery

First of all, Dr. Tansavadti is a meticulous surgeon. I love my results (facelift, neck lift, brow lift). Her work is beautiful and she really listened to what mattered to me (natural looking results, improved jaw line and fuller lips). The staff at Tansavatdi Facial Plastic Surgery is wonderful too and finally, Dr. T has a wonderful bedside manner! If you are considering facial plastic surgery, I can absolutely recommend Dr. Tansavadti.

Dr T Is the best ! I had laser done and they did a great job ! Their pre-care instructions and after care is so thorough. Their offices and surgery center are gorgeous . The staff are very knowledgable and friendly. 5 out of 5 stars !!!

I am physician practicing in the local area and thus am staying anonymous and this is an email and account I just created with no intention of using further. I’m writing this to share my insights as a physician and patient of Dr. Tansavatdi for other patients considering her. I highly recommend her for reasons detailed below. Additionally, she did not provide me better care because I am a physician as I did not immediately reveal this to her. I picked Dr. Tansavatdi after doing extensive research on the plastic surgeons in the area. My criteria for selecting her was largely based on two things that are rare among physicians: skill and, more importantly and hard to find, willingness to actually do all the work by spending an extra 15-30 minutes doing things that other doctors take shortcuts in. Being in the field, I can tell you every single doctor takes shortcuts (not waiting an extra few minutes for lidocaine to kick in and reduce your pain, having someone else suture, etc…). I can easily think of at least 100 examples of this. To a lesser extent, I cared about pricing but only after meeting her I discovered her rates are lower than most doctors. For the first aspect (skill), I felt about 25% of plastic surgeons I researched had this and a vast majority were female. Skill involves more than just knowledge of advance technique and surgical skill, but also includes an understanding of intricacies in the field such as aesthetics which is not taught in medical school and taught somewhat minimally in plastic surgery residencies and fellowships. My belief is females tend to be more observant of beauty standards than males and that is likely why female plastic surgeons tend to be more likely to have skill (at least the way I define it) than male plastic surgeons. Dr. Tansavatdi may be the most skilled surgeon I researched. The second aspect (actually making an effort) is more important in my option, however. This means a doctor who will schedule more appointments than needed and will spend more time than needed to address issues that patients would likely never notice, such as spending an extra 30 minutes to make the scar look just a tiny bit better or spending a good deal of time to reduce risk of very low risk (well under 1%). This is rare. In my opinion, this second aspect alone is the most aspect of patient care. Every doctor knows how to make the risk of a minor complication from 0.1% to 0.01% but how many will spend an extra 30 minutes to do that? Dr. Tansavatdi will.
