I have been getting my hair cut by the owner or his son for years. They do great work and spend the time to be sure I am happy every time. There are other barbers in the shop also, usually 3-5 working at one time. Rarely do I have to wait more than 10 min. $26 is the full price for a haircut, less for seniorsStill doing great work.

I had to fire my barber because he raised his prices up to $40. So I was in search of someone new. Called Parkwood and was told a regular haircut would run me $26. They are CASH ONLY and are all walk-ins. Located in a small plaza on the corner of Vanowen & Platt in West Hills. The parking lot is not very big and not meant for big vehicles. There's also parking available behind the plaza off of Vanowen. Walked in and noticed that it does not look anything like the first picture here on Yelp. Went to another hair cutter and there was a 30 minute wait. Went to Parkwood and was seen immediately. Then didn't want to pay the charge for using debit card so the barber trusted me to pay after the haircut. Where is it possible these days for that neighborly trust to occur? I'm going to Parkwood from now on.
