I followed Dr. Gagneja from her former office because I had been with her for 15 years and love how easy she is to talk to about anything and how down to earth and realistic she is about helping me meet my health goals. Coming to this office was the icing on the cake because it is a calm and quiet environment where I feel like I have the privacy of sitting down with Dr. G with fewer interruptions and the parking is super easy. The only down side is the online questionnaire that has to be completed EVERY SINGLE TIME you come in, regardless of recency. I think that would be a deterrent for people my parents’ age who are less tech savvy. I’m a busy lady and don’t have time to keep answering the same questions within a couple of days of one another. One star off for that, but 5 stars to Dr. Gagneja.

I have nasal polyps that began recurring immediately after a surgical procedure in January. And there was plenty of medicine practiced along the way to surgery, as was clearly documented by my ENT, Dr. Cohen, in my medical record when he prescribed Dupixent.
After much back and forth with my insurer, I finally learned that Health Net gives Lakeside/Regal a pile of money to deal with processing all injectables (like Dupixent). Lakeside denied the prescription, claiming I merely have a stuffed and runny nose, proving that whoever is writing such nonsense isn't reading the medical record or is practicing bad faith. Unfortunately, I lost a month of decent breathing and sleep appealing this through Health Net, as it was explained to me by one of their reps that this was the next step. She was, according to the rep I'm speaking to now, incorrect. And calls to Lakeside's patient service number go to a dodgy answering service that tells you someone will get back to you in 48 hours. My last two calls went unreturned.
My allergist, whom I'd never needed before, but who told me that, at 60 years old, my condition has given me asthma, prescribed the same medicine. This was also shot down. But, to be fair, their office may have submitted the prescription to Health Net, not Lakeside. As it turns out, I'm not the only one who is in the dark about this cozy arrangement between the two entities.
In short, two doctors have prescribed a treatment for me and documented my need for it. One of them recently submitted an expedited request to have my case reviewed. So if someone at Lakeside/Regal doesn't reverse their initial, wrong-headed denial quickly, I feel I'm left with no choice but to seek legal counsel and sue for damages. I'd prefer not to, but I'll do it rather than carry on with my current symptoms and the increased risk of cardiovascular problems that come with them.

I saw Dr. Gagneja and she is very professional and also personable at the same time. She explained everything so I could understand my own health issues. She spend time with you and makes sure that she answers any questions you may have.

I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment with Alicia Moreno, PA, and she arrived over an hour late. The front desk staff, specifically Sandy, made no effort to inform me of the delay and was dismissive and disrespectful when I asked for an update on Alicia’s estimated arrival time.

After waiting in the lobby for more than an hour, I was finally seen by Alicia, who did not acknowledge or apologize for her lateness. Instead, she was rude, impatient, and dismissive of my concerns without taking the time to listen to or examine my symptoms.

Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. Alicia Moreno was unprofessional and inconsiderate, and Sandy at the front desk was equally rude. I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking an appointment here.

I scheduled an appointment with Jessica Wyner, NP more than a month in advance. One business day before, late on Friday, they canceled and told me I cannot be seen on Monday — and the next available appointment is only in November, a full month later. This is careless, unprofessional, and shows total disregard for patients. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.
