Target Clinic, care provided by Kaiser Permanente - West Covina

This clinic is a valuable asset to the immediate community. I have been twice for basic services such as blood pressure and weight checks. The LVN, Anya, assisted both times and has been pleasant and extremely efficient. I am not sure of the scope of services for a Clinic compared to Urgent Care or the ER, but this location is very much appreciated and easy to access.

Horrible experience. Closed due to staffing shortage. Greeted rudely by the LVN asked me ‘what are you here for?’ Excuse me ma’am you have the schedule. Fire all these lazy workers you all get paid the most and complain the most. Kaiser is always striking. Will not continue with Kaiser in 2026 for health insurance.

Finally have time to write review because it’s been really bothersome. Would give a zero if I could. This is for a health visit for a family member on August 11 2025. The LVN name Anya DIAGNOSED MY FAMILY MEMBER WITH A STROKE! I get that the LVN had concerns but absolutely bizarre to say my family member was having a stroke! She kept saying we have to go to urgent care/ emergency room because he’s having a stroke and that clinic could not see him there due to HIS “ STROKE” symptoms! My family member felt so scared and in shocked. he almost passed out!!!! I get it, if you feel like the clinic is unable to provide proper treatment for the symptoms then the proper way to go about it is to say we are unable to accommodate you here and base off your symptoms and safety, I advise you go to urgent care or ER as soon as possible. You are not a doctor LVN Anya!!!!! You do what’s within your scope and please don’t do this to other patients! It causes unnecessary stress mentally and emotionally which is exactly what my family member felt the moment you told him that he was having a stroke! So unacceptable!

I’ve come to this location twice, once for my daughters well baby exam and once more for when she spiked a big fever. Both experiences were great! From the receptionist to the NP that assisted us. The scheduling was easy and swift. Highly recommend if you don’t want to wait in urgent care

the kaiser have the service like blue shield run health bussines for make money not interest in their member well bieng I have feel sick with fever and cough and intend see doctor by I call they put call on hold 4hours after pickup the telephone no body available call later really bad service.
