Cruz Brothers ( I only met Oscar) are great. They installed a thousand square feet of 4" white oak planks to replace our previous floor that had been damaged by a flood and removed. Oscar clearly explained the process, the schedule and finish options before work began. The resulting floor is absolutely the most beautiful thing in our house after my wife. I 'd give the Cruz Brothers a ten if I could.

AWFUL SERVICEWe called Cruz brothers floor services, Oscar said he was going to make he's best to call or come over to give an estimate Friday the 26th He did not call or make it. We called him Saturday morning the 27th He said he was going to be over to give the estimate within 20 minutes to make it at 9:00AM it's Monday the 29th 7:47 pm we still have not heard from Him He's service doesn't deserve a star DO NOT WAIT FOR THIS GUY...AWFUL SERVICE

Our project was to replace carpet with engineered wide plank hardwood in four bedrooms and a stairway. The underlying concrete slab and Saultillo tile floors in the bedrooms were not level, so there was significant prep work to do. Oscar was extremely knowledgeable, and he explained the process and materials to us thoroughly. Once all the prep work done, the pleasure of watching the craftsmanship of the flooring install began. We were working with material that wasn't exactly the same as the existing flooring in the main living area of the house (it had been discontinued), so the care and attention to detail with the alignment and transition points was key. But the most incredible work was in the stairwell, which had a challenging tight turn. Additionally, I really wanted to have the treads and risers flush to the wall without any trim. Raul is truly an artist, meticulously making precise cuts, without compromise. I am so happy with the outcome. As our painter said, "these guys are the A team." He's seen a number of projects in his years, and he was very impressed with the quality of Cruz Brothers' work. From beginning to end, it was a great experience. Oscar, Raul, Rogelio, and the entire team are fantastic - I recommend them without hesitation!

We hired Cruz Brothers to refinish several wood floors in our house. I had interviewed 3 other companies and was most impressed with their explanation of the process. They were considerate and professional and their prices were reasonable. If I were able to do it over again I would hire them only to do a natural finish. I chose a light stain, very close to natural, and there are many areas around the edges where you can see the brush/pad strokes from the staining. I'm not sure most would notice, but it does bother me. Whoever did the staining should be better trained.

They were recommended as the best floor company in town. They did an amazing job on my parents home that has its original maple floors from 1920. The floors had stains and blemishes but they worked them out and left the floors looking beautiful. Took a couple days longer due to old floors but worth the wait. My mom is very happy with her "new" floor

Cruz brothers (Oscar) came to our home and provided a plan for the job along with a quote. We agreed to both the plan and the quote. They did not show up as planned and did not return any of our (or our contractors) phone calls.

I've waited a long time to post this because I just didn't know what to make of this. Last summer, I contacted this company to replace a carpeted floor with hardwood. Oscar came out and gave me an estimate. I said it sounded good. He said he would look into matching the wood in the adjoining room. About 10 days later, not having heard anything, I texted to make sure he had received my earlier text giving him a picture and information about the wood that was used in that room. Still having heard nothing a week later, I texted him again and asked whether he was interested in the job. He texted back almost immediately apologizing and saying he had sent the picture and information to his floor provider and would check with him that day. I said great. I never heard from him again. I even texted again to ask again whether he was interested in the job. No response.I would have been fine had he just said they were too busy, or whatever. I found it incredibly rude, not to mention an extremely poor business practice, to just string me along for a few weeks and then simply refuse to answer. I would never recommend this place to anyone and in fact, I would recommend another place.

Extremely happy with the work that Cesar Cruz did on our living/dining room. He took an existing red oak hardwood floor that had been under carpets for 40 years and brought it back to new life. We removed the carpet, underlayment and pulled nails staples and tack strips ourselves. When everything was exposed we saw two very bad areas with dark stains and one board that had insect damage. We got four other individuals to come in to look at the job and got a wide range of ideas as to what would need to be done and of course a wide range of prices. Cesar's price, ideas on how to solve our floor's particular problems seemed to make the most sense to us and he delivered all that he had promised us up front. He only had to remove 1 board!! The one with the insect damage was replaced. The other two dark areas sanded out. I think even he was surprised and was expecting to have to replace boards in those areas. We also went with a darker finish, and I would throw that out to those of you that have dark stain issues to help hide those problems. We were going to go with a darker stain anyway so that really worked to our advantage. After the job was done, he was happy to come back 3 days later to do some small touch up sanding and re sealing. Very minor issues that we were almost embarrassed to ask him to come back for, but he was happy to do it, in order to make us completely satisfied. Thank you Cesar!
