I've had my hair straightened by Jenny a few times now, and honestly, I'm pretty pleased with how it turns out. The whole thing takes about 3-4 hours, so I usually bring a book or some work to keep to myself.

What I like about the hair salon is that it has this sort of low-key community feel. People from the neighborhood come and go, which is apparently a common thing in Korean culture. It adds a laid-back, comfortable vibe to the place.

came in for a TRIM because the place i usually go to was closed. what happened was a humbling experience... A short hair lady worked on me, was chatting with her friend (another customer) on the side half the time. poked the back of my neck with her scissors twice. very rough with my head and bumping it everywhere when shampooing me. had the dryer on the highest heat and burned me neck several times drying it. another older customer came in was waiting. The customer watched me flinch in pain when she burned my neck with the dryer. She then looked at her and then looked back at me saying "your hair is damaged haha". I normally wouldn't complain because it happens. but the end result was horrendous and i look like simba from lion king. she gave me MANY choppy layers when i simply asked for a trim. When i left, the whole right side of my head was still damp. I've never had a bad hair cut experience as long as i can remember and the only reason why I did not give it a one star was really because this was a HUMBLING experience. I appreciate my regular hair stylist so much more now. Oh but i wouldn't recommend getting a hair TRIM here unless you're also up for a humbling experience.

We have been coming here a few years now for my family's haircut. Jenny is very nice, patient, and professional. Price is also affordable, not too expensive like some other salons in the area. There is plenty of parking spots since it's located in a large Korean shopping center at Golden Springs, Diamond Bar. She always welcomes us with a big smile, and we always leave satisfied.
