“I come here on and off for the potato wedges and fried chicken located by the deli section inside of the store. You can get 1-2lbs for less than $10 of hot and freshly heated potato wedges, I'd say that's a big steal to share with fam on that. Store is clean, well stocked, and the cashiers are courteous from the service I've encountered. It's always also a great advantage to remember they have $5 Fridays and deals on savings here too. Parking is never an issue for there is plenty of it just outside the store.“

Within minutes, I went from “just looking” to loading up my arms with some of the best looking greenery I’ve seen in a long time. The prices? Easily 30 to 50 percent less than what I’ve seen at other plant shops in LA and SGV. The quality? Next level.

The owner is calm and kind, quietly working in the back while still greeting you with a warm smile and helping out whenever you need it. It’s obvious that she puts love into every single plant in that store.

And when it comes to selection? She’s got all the heavy hitters. These are the kinds of plants everyone’s searching for online, and here, they’re thriving.

Here’s what I ended up taking home:
• A Monstera Deliciosa with bold, split leaves
• A tall, sculptural Fiddle Leaf Fig in perfect condition
• A Pink Princess Philodendron with deep pink streaks that don’t even look real
• A sturdy, statement-making Snake Plant
• A vibrant variegated Rubber Plant
• A surprise baby plant that I didn’t need, but absolutely had to have

Why I’ll Be Coming Back:
• Every plant I checked had strong roots, clean soil, and zero pests
• She sells her own nutrient-packed plant water that’s great for keeping things healthy at home
• The shop layout is open and relaxing, not cluttered like some other places
• Prices are unbeatable, especially for the size and condition of what you’re getting
• It’s one of the only spots I’ve been to where you can feel how much care goes into everything

Pro tip: The store is right at the front of the plaza, super easy to find. Go earlier in the day for the best selection, once people see these prices and plant quality, stuff goes fast.

“300 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2025, Sometimes a grocery store will surprise me with Asian items that I thought I'd find only at the neighborhood ethnic store such as 99 Ranch or H-Mart... I had the task of hunting down miso paste and fresh ginger root along with other common ingredients that I needed to get on this errand... Take out my smartphone and open up both H-Mart and Albertson's apps and do a comparison on who has what... Ooh, way to go Albertson's! You have the fresh ingredients I needed. Hopefully, you weren't lying to me. I arrived at the Amerige shopping center and parked waayyy out where there weren't any cars... I prefer not to park close to the entrance anymore. So, first things first. Produce... I picked the organic cilantro because of it's full green leaves, so nice looking! (It was only 50 cents more than regular). Next were the green onions, grabbed a banded bunch right next to the cilantro. Easy... Then I almost forgot the fresh ginger root (my mom taught me to pick the non shriveled root for the fresher root). Done, on to the Asian/International aisle... Looking for the miso... I didn't find it here. But, I did spot tubs of Thai curry pastes! I don't need them today. The light bulb in my head said to go where I'll find the refrigerated tofu... That's where the miso will be... Yes, found the miso paste. I selected the Cold Mountain brand because it's gluten free. The popular Marukome did not state it's gluten free. Okay, all items in the basket... Self checkout next, easy peasy, grab the open kiosk and pay with card.“

“Just got back from the store and it's busier this evening as we're nearing Christmas Eve. I should have caught the cashiers name, but wow just wow! This man was so kind and generous. My 3 year old picked out a balloon that was considered display only. The cashier who was helping us was told it was not for sale. The cashier at the register in front of her heard what was happening as my daughter was disappointed she wasn't allowed to get the star. He told her to go pick out another one. He not only bought her a different Christmas balloon but also a penguin stuffy. It was beyond generous and just so very nice of him. I'm still in shock that someone did that for us. Feeling the love during the Christmas season and just cemented that this Albertson's has some pretty amazing workers. Left with a happy heart! Thank you, thank you to the man who made our night!“
