As a woman with a late ADHD diagnoses (I was 36), I was referred to Dr. Schwab. He's fabulous. He's helped me juggle meds for ADHD, anxiety and depression, insomnia, and panic attacks (all of which are likely related). He's great about getting prescriptions to me (even when I wait until the last minute...) and answering my, "Wait, when is our next appt?" messages, and he's flexible about doing them in person or via phone. I highly recommend him, especially to other women with ADHD (inattentive type).

I just need to say out of all the “shrinks” I’ve seen throughout my life, this doc is THE BEST. I went through a very difficult & abusive divorce that led me to other situations I’m not proud of. I started seeing him 5 years ago and this doc fights for you. He responds on weekends to texts, he will go over & beyond to get insurance covered for you. Ex: my insurance suddenly stopped covering one of my prescriptions I’ve used for 6 years, he spent hours & days, times I never even asked for or felt that it wasn’t even worth it then would call me to say he fought for it again, weekend or not... jumping through hoops day in & day out. Dr. Schwab is an experienced, kind, and thoughtful person. He is easy to talk to, and NOT arrogant, condescending, or formal, like many psychiatrists. He also is a SANE person, which can be hard to find in a psychiatrists!
