First visit was excellent. Had a skin growth removed & biopsy done. Dr Zimmerman is very efficient & knowledgeable. I am impressed with his followup assistance as the biopsy was positive for skin cancer. I'm having surgery tomorrow.

Dr. Zimmerman made me feel calm and confident in him when he took a biopsy from the top of my head I had no pain and I was very relaxed I'm glad I went to him today I feel lucky that I found a good doctor someone I can trust

Pros: Well qualified, personable, excellent patient rapport, listens carefully, thorough examination, communicates clearly, outstanding follow-up.For example, driving back from first appointment received call from Alta pharmacy prescriptions received from Dr. Zimmerman, ready for free delivery.Cons: Long lead-time getting an appointment. Schedule booked weeks or months ahead.

Dr. Zimmerman received his B.A. in molecular and cell biology from Northwestern University and his M.D. degree from the University of Chicago. He performed his Dermatology training at UCLA Medical Center where he was Chief Resident of Dermatology in 2006 and a Volunteer Clinical Professor of Dermatology. Dr. Zimmerman is Board Certified in Dermatology and has practiced Dermatology in the Bay Area for a many years, specializing in both general and cosmetic skin issues. Dr. Zimmerman is part of Golden State Dermatology.
