About Jay Zimmerman, M.D.
Dr. Zimmerman is a highly trained and experienced dermatologist who has been practicing in the Bay Area for many years. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed his dermatology training at UCLA Medical Center, where he was the Chief Resident of Dermatology in 2006 and a Volunteer Clinical Professor of Dermatology. Patients have praised Dr. Zimmerman's expertise in both general and cosmetic skin issues. He is known for his accurate diagnoses and his ability to provide clear explanations and alleviate patient concerns. Patients have reported positive experiences with his care, including his willingness to accommodate scheduling changes and his commitment to ensuring patient satisfaction. While the overall experience at the practice has been positive, some patients have noted that the front desk staff could improve their warmth and consideration, especially for elderly patients. The check-out process has also been described as frustrating at times, with staff appearing preoccupied with cosmetic orders and unavailable for assisting patients. Despite these minor issues, the majority of patients have expressed satisfaction with the care they have received from Dr. Zimmerman.
I have seen Dr. Chipps a number of times and this last visit I saw Shelby the PA in Encino. They have taken really good care of me and have answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend the facility in Encino. Robin Spero
5 stars . in my previous review, I was upset due to miscommunication on my part. Dr. Seth did an amazing job. I would recommend him to others. My six month postop rhinoplasty gets better and better. He allowed me to reschedule twice due to a family tragedy. He re-explained how the procedure works and provided clarity which alleviated the tension and anxiety around my procedure.
Dr. Michael Wang is the best. He's very busy but will make room for you. His diagnosis is "spot on" he replaced retiring Dr Engel who I admired he also knows him and can continue my treatment.
