Staff is very friendly but each time you go for a certain study, sometimes you do not qualify and it's a waste of time, gas and tolls for crossing the bridge (Bay Bridge or San Mateo). You should be compensated for both days that you go.including meals .
Sometimes you have to fast as well
And should be compensated for meals as well.
I've been to two studies one just a few days ago and then 2 years ago with different doctors and staff there. Both doctors were very friendly and explain everything to you, including the research coordinators and other staff .

I must say this business is probably the best clinical research facility I have ever had the pleasure to be a participant for. They are always friendly and have an excellent staff at their office. They offer a variety of studies that help the medical field advance while offering a substantial incentive. If you ever have any misunderstandings, concerns or problems.. their support staff will take care of anything right then and there. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a clinical-trial participant. As a Type 1 diabetic, I participated in many clinical trials, some in-depth, that took a month or longer, and some very quick, one- or two-visit studies. Most of them, in my case, were administered by Dr. Mark Christiansen. He is a professional and competent doctor, and yet a VERY helpful, kind and understanding person. I highly recommend participating in clinical studies there!
