We have had our little Ralph for 2 weeks and couldn't love him more!! He is so smart, sweet, and playful. Thankful for Shadalane helping us find the perfect fur baby to add to our family.

Alan and Shelly and the rest of the staff at Shadalane are truly fantastic. They gave us an exceptional experience while helping us choose our new fur baby. After losing our 7 year-old Golden Retriever to cancer, they thoughtfully paired us with Callie and we fell in love with her instantly. Alan and Shelly welcomed us like family and genuinely understood how deeply the loss of our golden had affected us. Alan even took the time to share helpful training tips and a novel he wrote about Golden Retrievers, which can be incredibly beneficial as we train Callie. We adopted our first golden retriever from Shadalane almost two weeks ago and are absolutely in love! Shelly and Alan, along with the many other caregiving staff, were just amazing - so genuinely kind, patient, and supportive. It is obvious they truly love and care about their dogs and are dedicated to finding the right home for them. My teenage daughter is in a power wheelchair so we were looking for a dog who would be loving, patient, aware of her needs, and have a caregiving heart. After meeting several of their dogs, Alan and Shelly suggested meeting Jamba, who we ended up adopting and bringing home. It has honestly been a match made in heaven!
