I had such a great experience getting my braids done. She was able to squeeze me into her schedule last minute, which I really appreciated. Her rates are super affordable, and she offers flexible payment options like cash or Zelle. I also loved that she gives the option to include hair, which made the whole process so easy. She's very professional, keeps everything clean and organized, and has a great sense of humor that made the appointment enjoyable. She offers a wide range of styles, including box braids, bohemian/goddess braids, cornrows, crochet, and more, for all genders. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend her!

I debated posting a review because I did like Blessing as a person, but I had a negative experience that I wouldn't want anyone else to go through. I booked my appointment with Blessing, expecting her to do my hair based on the work I saw online. When I arrived, her sister ended up being the one to do it. I wasn't told in advance, but I assumed it would be fine. I booked six boho feed-ins. Her sister was sweet but rough, and braided very tightly. It didn't hurt much at first and seemed normal. I initially liked the look, but when I got home, I saw the braids were far too tight -my baby hairs were braided in, my scalp was irritated with red spots and bumps. The braids were a little uneven, but overall still looked okay. The next morning, I told Blessing I was worried they were too tight and asked if they might be able to redo them. To her credit, she did oblige and got me in the same day. I told her that my scalp looked tight and I was worried about damage, not that I was in pain. When I arrived, she said "so they're hurting, which ones are hurting you" and asked when I last had my hair braided; I said that the pain wasn't the problem, all of them felt and looked too tight and I was worried about breakage. She said that sometimes when you haven't had your hair braided in a long time, it can feel sensitive to the tightness and that most girls liked having it that tight so they would last longer, but they would redo the top two braids. She did not actually take a close look at them herself. It felt like she dismissed the issue as scalp sensitivity on my end, implying I was tenderheaded, rather than acknowledging the braids were objectively too tight and causing damage. Her sister redid the top two, which felt better, but the rest still felt too tight. I planned to wait another day or two, but I noticed breakage and worsening irritation when I got home. I ended up taking them out that same night. After just over 24 hours, I had a small bald patch at my crown and breakage in other areas. I was going to eat the cost but after thinking about it and further inspecting the damage/small bald spot on my hairline, I decided to reach out and ask if a refund or partial refund was possible. She gave me a call and I did end up getting a $50 refund. While I was happy to get some money back, the phone call was a bit frustrating as well; she was still generally kind but she would not fully own up to the style being too tight, and she made it seem as though it were just an issue of me not enjoying the style, rather than there being damage to my hair. During the call, she also said that I didn't say anything directly after the redo. When I responded that I had said ALL of the braids felt too tight and they had chosen to redo just two, she gave me a lecture, saying "even if we had a gun to your head, you should still speak up and tell us you didn't like it." Sure, I could have been more assertive, but it isn't the client's responsibility to push back repeatedly when they've already voiced a concern. It's not appropriate for a business to downplay a concern and then turn around and say the client should have insisted harder. She also mentioned "giving me another chance" with the redo, as though I had to earn her services. I also don't think that's it's a business's place to scold a client for what they could have done better; it's their responsibility to own up to what happened and try to find the best resolution. If your customer is not satisfied, it's poor practice to blame the customer for what's gone wrong and say that YOUR experience has been frustrating. Blessing and her sister were nice people, but the experience left me feeling blamed, gaslit, and not truly heard. There was no real accountability for the damage to my hair, and the refund didn't feel proportional to what happened. I don't feel my concerns were taken serious and it felt like the responsibility of their mistake was placed on me, rather tha

I took my 15 year old daughter to get knotless braids. Blessing was so kind. We met at 6am so my daughter kept falling asleep and her head kept tilting over. Blessing was so patient and worked with it. It has been 1 month now since went to see Blessing and my daughter's braids are still in great condition!! I was in Vista for vacation and Blessing was super busy with the back to school rush. I was thankful that she was able to squeeze in my daughter. Blessing braider her hair the last day of our vacation, and the following day we were to fly back to Washington for the first day of school. My daughter loves her braids. Thank you Blessing for doing such a great job and for being so kind!
