Anytime Fitness has recently undergone positive changes under new ownership, leading to a noticeable improvement in the gym's overall environment. The new owners are caring, genuine individuals who have made the gym cleaner and safer by installing new locks, repairing cameras, and addressing unauthorized users. They have also fixed some equipment issues after six months of no action, creating a noticeable night and day difference from previous months. The gym offers 24-hour access, making it convenient for members. It is well-stocked with cleaning supplies, hygiene products, free weights, kettlebells, mobility sticks, and a turf area, catering well to those on their fitness journey. The staff, including the manager and coach, are friendly, approachable, and eager to help. Many members also appear friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some challenges remain. There are ongoing issues with cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms, which are often out of soap, clogged, or have leaks. Maintenance concerns include leaking ceilings, small bugs on the floor, and machines that are not bolted to the floor, posing safety risks as they move during use. Despite these issues, the gym is appreciated for its equipment, peaceful environment, and the improvements made in recent months. Overall, it is a solid choice for those seeking a friendly, well-equipped fitness space.
I’m nomadic and have been to lots and lots of Anytime Fitness locations. This one is perfectly adequate, and it seems like the bad reviews reflect only on the previous ownership. Bathrooms were clean. No smells. Equipment is reasonably maintained. Some areas could use more floor space (eg squat rack), but this is a fine gym and doesn’t deserve all of the 1 star reviews at all.
PS: Cancelation issues are pretty normal with AF and are a problem with corporate, not the individual franchise locations. They can be avoided by doing everything in writing and being super diligent about adhering to the actual cancelation terms of your agreement.
I’m really impressed with the new direction of this gym. The owners are clearly invested in the members' success, and the staff is always ready to help. The facility is now consistently clean, and the equipment is functional and well-kept. One of the best perks is that they maintain a standard for who joins, which keeps the gym from getting overcrowded or messy. It’s a 5-star experience every day.
I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness for over 7 years, and my experience has consistently been excellent. One of the biggest advantages for me is the flexibility—my schedule is always busy, so being able to work out at different locations has made it so much easier to stay consistent. The 24/7 access is incredibly convenient, and the proximity of multiple gyms means I can always find one nearby no matter where I am.
