I've been going to Jessi now for years for my color and she always does an incredible job. She took my hair from damaged bleached blonde to a healthy and beautiful silver. The salon always plays the best music and everyone is so nice, I love when I know I have an upcoming appointment.

I was banned from all Young American Salon locations earlier this year. I had been polite, paid for my services, and had positive experiences with my stylist Rachel Lopez then suddenly received an email from the owner, Julia, saying I'm no longer allowed. When I asked why, I was told "I made people uncomfortable," which is absurd and insulting. No one at this salon ever communicated any problem to me. Instead, they quietly decided to blacklist a respectful customer without explanation. It's the most unprofessional behavior I've ever encountered from a business that claims to care about its clients. Unprofessional and dismissive. I was banned without warning or reason. They just want your money at the end of the day I would advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. If you value respect don't set foot in this place. Trust me. Side note: I've seen Rachel Lopez and, once, Zyana O'Brien at the Old Town location, and Rachel Delaney at the Southern Local location. I didn't have a good experience at the Villa Park location. It took me time to find Rachel Lopez, who I trusted and felt comfortable with. Then the business began spreading false claims about me truly an evil and dishonest company. I'm sharing this so future customers and current clients know exactly what kind of business this is. Be careful the same thing can happen to you.

Brought my daughter here for a summer refresh and Jake did an excellent job, like always and expected. She came in with some ideas of how she wanted her hair to look, and Jake gave his professional opinion on what would look good. The cut and style was quick and on-point, and I had a happy kid with a beautiful layered look.
