He takes the health of your eyes personal and guides you through the entire process providing an explanation of every step and test results. ChristIna is professional and friendly; providing a description of each test that is conducted. Rose goes out of her way to satisfy your frame needs. The entire staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean office and safety protocols followed. Dr Lax gives very thorough explanations of what he is checking, and answers any questions in an easy to understand way.

Having lived in Ventura for over 30 years & for as long as I can remember, I've been going to Family Vision for eye exams & glasses. My optometrist is Dr. Gary Lax; while I've had occasion to visit other optometrists, I find Dr. Lax is the best & most thorough. My favorite technician is Rose -- she goes out of her way to be professional, is very precise & thorough in her service. Pearl is an excellent optician & also very professional. My favorite receptionists is Ashley -- they are all excellent!
