I have had to visit several Orthopedic Doctors in my past. Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys is theeee BEST place and theeeee BEST staff. I actually know someone that works at this office and she highly recommended me to visit them for a consultation on my ankle. I live closer to San Diego but it was worth the drive. Thank you Crystal Rafael for everything. You truly helped me so much and you are so caring. I’m so thankful you told me to see Dr. Ferkel. Everything you told me about him and the facility was so true. Thank you Crystal! Because of you I feel like I am now on the road to recovery with an excellent Doctor.

Went here for sciatica issue. Alexis M. was my primary PT and she was great. Kind, informative, and very helpful. Answered all my questions. She was very insightful and great about listening to my issue to help figure out the right treatment. Koby M. was the PT that I worked with most. Lot of early morning sessions, but Koby made it better with one of the most positive attitudes I've ever experienced. Very friendly, very helpful about keeping me on track and honest in my movements. Always pushing me for more. We were able to talk about my issues and he was a great guide. I'm very impressed with the total hip replacement I received from Southern California Orthopedic Institute. Their staff responded quickly to resolve my Orthopedic needs. Dr Merriman, Kelly Cook, Reveri Trancoso, and SCOI physical therapy staff, together with the surgical staff at Adventist Health surgical center, made sure my hip replacement would be a success. My recovery time was minimal and I'm feeling better than I have in years. Thank you SCOI.
