Have a fairly expensive Stickley dinning room table. Needed to have the top refinished. Two Yong fellows were very careful taking the table in and out. Very polite Just delivered today. .The top looks like it is new. Even were able to get the old dings out.The finish is a dark cherry. Just beautiful Would highly recommend this company.
I can't recommend Sylvia and her family enough!!! They reupholstered a booth in our kitchen years ago, and I was so impressed that I jumped at the opportunity to have them make my custom pieces for our home in Hawaii! I was so excited to have another project for them, almost more than I was about our new beach house! l am such a fan of Southern California Craftsman, and I knew what I wanted didn't exist, so I literally had them make my furniture and shipped it to Hawaii. Take a look at the custom kitchen booth they made and the "U" shaped sofa they made EXACTLY as I'd envisioned (they literally made my chicken scratch sketches a reality) ! They also made my hotel quality black out drapes with sheer curtains! If you're thinking about hiring them, don't hesitate...they won't disappoint!
Wow... what can I say. Southern California craftsmen took care of us and treated us like family. We we took in our antique library table, a family heirloom mirror, and a vintage hand carved wooden rocking chair and Silvia and her family were able to bring them all back to life! There were intricate hand carved flowers on the rocking chair, some of which had been knocked off over the years, and they were able to duplicate them to look identical to the originals. They also re-upholstered our sectional sofa. Simply incredible. I highly recommend going with Southern California Craftsman with any of your furniture refinishing needs. The quality of work speaks for its self and their prices were very fair. Not to mention supporting a local family owned and operated business is always the way to go.
