Walked in to the almost empty (but very clean) showroom. "Hello - anybody home?" No answer. I walked in further and saw two people at "the front counter" which was hidden, more to the back. I then inquired about bringing in a sample tile to match and the male said most of their stuff was moved and I should go to another location. But the way he said it was very terse. Rude. I explained that I called about 20 minutes prior, and he confirmed that he was the guy I talked to and that this was the showroom. So I drove an extra 15 minutes to get here - and it's the "wrong" place. The goods new is that I was referred to Transworld Tile (I gave 5-star review there). 15 minutes, with traffic, back the other way. If he'd told me on the phone to go to Transworld originally, it would have saved me about 40 minutes. Glad I don't need to go back to the "showroom" with this unhappy employee.

The selection at this Daltile showroom and stone yard are excellent and are all neatly stored in an orderly fashion. It is critical that you look at the slab of any stone or quartz, as pictures do not really do it justice. All quartz is wrapped in plastic and come in 74 square foot slabs and 2 centimeters thickness. I am so grateful to Lizamarie, who was my escort through the storage warehouse and was able to answer all my questions about certain slabs, such as stone movement, thickness availability and whether my requested color and design was available. Because they only sell to contractors and other builder professionals, I can only look and need to have my contractor make the actual purchase. I am so glad Daltile is enjoying their 75th anniversary here in the United States, with manufacturing in Tennessee and Texas.
