Pipe Dream Events team is built of experienced design specialists, cutting-edge artists, and event-driven personnel. Senior Designer Elliott Hines began his career as an apprentice at Poko Event Productions. His mentor guided and taught him to be meticulous, never leaving any detail to chance. Elliott then learned the importance of providing the creative flair and an artistic eye to the drapery and hardware installed. He transformed simple, basic background drapes into spectacular and imaginative surroundings. Elliott soon realized that there was a demand for someone to provide drapes, installation, and execution. This vision is what inspired Elliott to create his own business, Pipe Dream Events.

This is very belated, but I think the level of professionalism could have been better. After some emails about my venue space, Bianka set up a meeting with Elliott at my venue for him to measure the space and give me a quote for drapes. I had already met with a couple other similar vendors that had given me quotes and was shopping around. Anyway, the day of the meeting, Elliott calls and asks me if I know what I was looking and if I know what prices for drape services are typically. He was a bit condescending in telling me that most laypeople don't realize the cost of this service and he is just trying to be honest and not waste my time, etc. He was astonished when I told him I already had some quotes (cheaper ones!) and again condescendingly telling me that I would get what I pay for if I went with cheaper. Well, it felt pointless to us both to meet since he was quoting me double the price of other vendors and I was already a little put off by the tone of the conversation. But I had already set the day aside from work to have this meeting and he calls me to talk about all this just as I was heading out to meet him. It was such a waste of my day. Maybe Pipe Dream Events has better drapes or something, and I may not be the expert and know about such things, but in the end I found other great vendors who did the exact job I wanted and at nearly half the cost of Pipe Dream Events.
I needed pipe and drape installed at the last minute and Pipe Dream Events were able to pull off an amazing installation and create exactly the vibe I was looking for in 2 days. It was easy to request a drapery, order the correct amount, and get it installed with only a phone call. The team is professional and even followed up via phone if they had any questions. They knew that I needed this project to be easy and they made it their mission to set my mind at ease. Can't wait to use them for the next project.
Back in Jan 2020 we inquired with them for our April wedding (now postponed). Got a quote signed a contract & everything was fine until the person helping us apparently got fired and we paid them already and without our knowledge pretended to still work for Pipe Dream and used there contracts to continue the project. Well it wasn't until I noticed he wasn't responding to the emails and instead texted me regarding the event. some time had passed and I called the owner Elliot and he "attempted" to assist me with either moving forward with your event or getting me the money back from his previous employee who "stole" our money and basically said there isn't anything I can do. But when you get your money back we can help to plan your event. Um NO THANK YOU. I would not trust them. Im out $$$
