About Vallejo Yoga
Vallejo Yoga is a caring community and a Vallejo gem, founded in 2008. It offers accessible yoga classes for beginners, advanced practitioners, and all levels and abilities in between. The studio is a particularly safe and welcoming space for individuals of all ages, places in their yoga practice, shapes, sizes, genders, and identities. BIPOC and LGBTQ are welcome here. The kind, skillful, and amazing teachers are dedicated to mind and body health and wellness. Their guidance and gentle reminders to be present and breathe help ground students and reconnect them with their heart. Instructors read the room exceptionally well, offer a variety of modifications, and provide helpful feedback and assistance. They create a calming, relaxing, and spiritual environment. The owner is described as kind, compassionate, and going above and beyond for students. The studio itself is spacious and maintains COVID precautions, including markers for mats and mask-wearing. Students must bring their own mat, but props like blocks and pillows are provided for support. Online booking is easy and flexible. Overall, Vallejo Yoga provides a guided, supported, and wonderful yoga experience that helps with physical health, spirituality, and personal connection. It is a warm, inviting, and blessed community where all are truly welcome.
I began yoga 2 years ago, through Vallejo Yoga's online class, and it changed my life. I've continued to take their online classes--I live in SF--and they've all been great. Especially the Restorative Yoga class on Wednesday nights, online. The teachers are wonderful, smart and caring. I love this place.
A Vallejo gem! I attended class here for the first time recently. Amy was inviting, bright, and read the room exceptionally well to help you. Other students were also very warm and inviting. This is a particularly safe space welcoming to individuals of all ages and places in their yoga practice with a variety of modifications offered. All in all, I felt guided and supported in the practice while able to follow the hum of my own breath. I’m grateful the Vallejo Yoga community exists.
I attended the Yin, Slow Flow & Restorative Yoga for Everybody class taught by Laura. I have nothing but great things to say! Upon entry. Laura warmly greeted me and instantly made me feel welcome. The studio is spacious and still practicing Covid guidelines because there are markers for where to place your yoga mat. You have to bring your own yoga mat and wear a mask. However, I love all the props that are provided! I used the blocks and pillows for extra support during stretches. Laura had such a calming and relaxing voice. I loved how she asked the class what part of the body we would like to focus on. She came around each person and helped assist with poses which I really appreciated! I got the most out of the class with her feedback for me! This class had me so relaxed and zen I felt I melted into my mat. Thank you Laura, looking forward to more classes here!
