Tried booking with another artist before Lexx who had difficulty creating what I wanted, but Lexx sat down with me during our consultation and came up with exactly what I'd had in my mind. 2nd sitting for my back tattoo cover-up. This was to cover up a dragon tramp stamp - gosh, I hate that name - and it is now a beautifully blossoming cherry tree. The work Lexx did on the shading, the lines, and the application of the pinks and the reds along with the see of white is masterful. Lexx is so an accomplished artist. She will tell you as it is, will advise you, guide you. in many ways she knows best.

I couldn't be happier with the tattoo I got from Lexx. Not only is she a truly incredible artist, but the entire experience was amazing. Lexx created my unique tattoo for me. Her attention to detail is amazing. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable in her cute studio. It was just a great experience and I cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you, Lexx!

After 10 years of looking at tattoo shops and not feeling connected to an artist, I came in for the first time after seeing Lexx's work, and it was the best decision I've made. She's given me 5 tattoos and one cover up to date, and I love them so much I can't choose a favorite. Her shop is clean, she has a sharp attention to detail, and her prices are more reasonable than they should be for the quality of her work. Aside from that, Lexx is an amazing human - every session feels like hanging out with a friend, her energy is calm and grounded, she's in tune and connected during a session and her creativity is off the charts. She is a leading voice on tattooing color on Black skin, and carefully selects and builds relationships with the other artists whose incredible art, candles jewelry and crystals she sells in her shop (all local businesses owned by Black women). The industry needs more women like her - do not hesitate to book with her.

So Lexx is my tattoo artist now. A flight, ferry and lift ride to get to her studio was beyond worth it. I'm introvert who engages in conversation by trade so while I can engage in small talk fine enough, I hate it so whenever I'm meeting a new service provider I prepare myself for having to talk. OMG, no need. Lexx was so genuine and sweet, her studio is gorgeous and comfortable. I had a great time with her and more importantly, loved her finished work (she was kind enough to correct someone else's work). My next flight is already booked!
