We have one dog that goes here and they are all the sweetest to her! Not only that, I am getting a new puppy and had SO many questions about vaccines and their process because we had a HORRIBLE experience with Vetco vaccination clinic with our other dog. Nathan was INCREDIBLY nice, patient and informative! I kept attacking him with questions and he answered every single one with such care and understanding! LOVED THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I recently started going here because my previous vet closed and I’m so incredibly happy with them. My dog had a paw injury and over the course of a week they saw her several times, once without an appointment, and the staff was prompt, kind, communicative, they even followed up with phone calls the next day. The pricing was reasonable and I felt Dr Kim truly cared for my dogs recovery. She’s healthy and happy now and I’m going back here again. Highly recommend this one.

Today I left this office after 4 years and will never look back. My frustration comes after a series of unacceptable mistakes that public needs to know. My personal mistake was to keep going to this place due to the amazing reviews so I thought that I was just having bad luck. We start a couple of years ago with an ear infection when the dog came back from the back of the office with the wrong ear treated. About 1 y and a half ago I brought my dog in for limping, dr Kim diagnosed elbow’s arthritis, 2 light walk a day for the rest of his life. Nothing to really do about it. It sounded dumb to me since the dog was only 3 y old so I contacted an orthopedic, the orthopedic removed a broken anaconeal process that dr Kim didn’t see at the XRay and talked to me about a very modern treatment which we promptly jumped on, the dog was up and running normal in 2 months. Last year doctor Oh sent me to the ER with a diagnosis of GDV while my dog was actively vomiting fluids (1st hint of the fact that couldn’t have been GDV) wasn’t bloated, wasn’t panting, wasn’t foaming, because he had confused an enlarged prostate with a stomach on the X-Ray. Access Woodland Hills pulled up the dog in 24h with simple antibiotics. Today the culprit with the dumbest conversation I ever had in 50 years of my life with the front desk. My dog has lost 2 or 3 pounds in last few months. He went from about 92 to 88. Or who knows? the scale they have in the office is never accurate. Without saying anything a couple of months ago they had put him on a lower dosage of cytopoint which I noticed just from the fact that they billed me a lower price and that the medication hadn’t been effective at all all of sudden. Whoever has a dog with skin issue knows how nasty it can get very quickly. I complained 3 times in separate occasions, in person and over the phone, I brought it up when I booked the appointment and today I went back saying again that his skin is a mess and I needed the dosage he has been doing for the last 2 years. They put him on the scale and his weight was 89.5 lb, like for real I am not making it up. Higher dosage starts at 90 lb, there’s nothing they can do. They didn’t offer a consultation, they didn’t offer an alternative plan, the desk employer looked so satisfied that she wasn’t going to follow this annoying patient’s request. I was boiling, I just couldn’t handle so much stupidity, I threw the muzzle I was holding in my hands on the scale which bumped on 90 lb and I asked if I could have his regular dosage now. They called me rude. I didn’t have the patience to handle so much retardation. I left and randomly called Pinnacle. They fit me in, visited the dog, gave me his old dosage of cytopoint (surprise surprise they charge less) added apoquel and antibiotics (this how bad his skin was), loaded me with info about soaps and creams, dr Amsel and his technician visited the dog without muzzle before my eyes and without all the scenes that I was used to get at AMC for my ‘aggressive ’ dog, and I paid a total of 500 dollars which would have covered only 2 cytopoint injection at AMC. AMC takes more patients they can handle. There’s always a different technician, a different doctor, front staff looks always overworked tired and confused, only thing are good about it is chasing you with a reminder of any possible vaccine, dr Kim is always rushing, one time to cut corners, because it was late and waiting room was still full she shouted to me the procedure she was about to do from behind the front counter while I was sitting in the waiting room and everyone around me was talking. How professional is that? I hate bad reviews but if you are not detailed oriented and professional in medical care maybe it’s not your job. And always advocate for your pet and ask second opinions, because if your pet has a real health issue they can’t go beyond vaccines flea medications and spay or neuter.

Our beloved pet dog, Sirius passed away after 15 great years with us. Dr. Oh At Animal Medical Center has been our Vet for the last 7 years. Sirius went through a couple of surgeries in the last few years including ACL tears, stone in stomach and rectal tumor. Dr.Oh is very competent and took great care of Sirius during those surgeries. He has a great deal of empathy and always made/recommended the right plan of action for us. He cares a lot about the care he provides and always followed up after the surgeries by calling us to check how Sirius is doing. Dr.Oh strived hard to provide comfort for Sirius during Sirius’s last days and was a great support for us. I highly recommend Dr.Oh as a Vet for your pets.
