The indoor pool and hot tub area is pleasant, with a wide variety of workout equipment and weights available. The locker room for women is clean and well-equipped with showers and a sauna. While some limitations exist, such as classes being held upstairs, the club offers a welcoming space for members to enjoy. Overall, the Ukiah Valley Athletic Club is a great option for those looking for a fitness club in the area.
I am so delighted to respond with how impressed I am with the owner, John. We had a very pleasant discussion about how difficult the decision was for them to make in regards to the Silver Slippers program and how hard they tried to make it work.I want to apologize for my comment that I posted, "They will no longer support Seniors by accepting Silver Slippers health care programs….?", I really should have tried contacting John first to see exactly the reason for the decision and how they were working make the Health Club still affordable for Seniors. I'm a new member. I can only share my overall experience and the indoor pool and hot tub area. This was all very nice, but the hot jets wouldn't work. My biggest negative is that although many classes are offered, they seem to be all upstairs, so this is not accessible for all.

I enjoy the 2 pools and hot tub as well as the wide variety of workout equipment and weights. The locker room for women is clean with nice showers and a sauna. A wonderful asset for Ukiah and the inland Mendocino.
