I'm stripping the previous "box dyes" from my hair and embracing the gray. I booked with Ellysa, and she was simply the best experience I've ever had at a salon! She was happy to listen to what I wanted, asked questions, looked at my hair and the color examples I brought, and gave a realistic recommendation. She really knows her stuff and took great lengths to make sure I got what I wanted without over processing my hair. I've got at least one more session to do before I achieve the colors I'm wanting, but am already happy with what I have so far. I can't recommend her enough!

I usually cut my own hair, but decided to be a little ballsy this time, going shorter on the fade than usual. Needless to say, I bit off a little more than I could chew! Lol. So I came in to get some help with transitioning the fade into my top. I came in and Kenzie was really kind & she did a good job! Then, after going home I found a couple things I wanted changed (just wanted a higher fade) & they were kind enough to take me in and fix them up w/out charge. I often find that with art, it's less about finding people with specific skills & more about finding people who are humble, who can listen well and participate in the process. It's less about "getting a job done" and more about two parties participating in a process to make something cool & beautiful. Art is high stakes, especially when it's on a person's head. I'm very satisfied w/ the results & process!
