Gary’s Shoe Repair and Alterations is a wonderful Mom and Pop business. Anoush does the alterations and her husband does the shoe repair. They are both highly skilled and always do a great job. I recommend them 100%.
Anush at Gary's Shoe Repair took on a very challenging project. I have a very old guitar case which had many holes develop over the years, and after taking it to multiple seamstresses, I was told about how Gary's was the only place around with an open-ended sewing machine, and the only place who could possibly do the job. And boy! Were they right! Anush did an amazing job getting my guitar case ready for the next twenty years of taking it to gigs! I am so very thankful to her for her incredible work!
My Adidas Samba got a tear on the right side of the right shoe. Considering how they've ballooned up in price to 100 bucks per pair lately, due to their popularity, I was determined to not give up on them or rehome them, but rather breathe a 2nd life into them by having them repaired. Lo and behold, this great business in the heart of Sunland-Tujunga absolutely came through. My shoe is as good as new and the price is really affordable and reasonable. Highly-recommended place. 10/10
