About Schaffer's Mill
Schaffer's Mill is an upscale gated community in Truckee featuring beautiful homes and a well-maintained golf course. The Sawyer restaurant offers possibly the best outdoor seating and ambiance, especially in summer with live music. While the pool is small for the number of guests, the staff is friendly and helpful. Dining experiences can vary, but the overall quality of golf and dinner is praised. Visitors note the improvements made over the years, contributing to a great mountain retreat.
