I had an AMAZING experience at this beautiful, airy, relaxing salon! I was so anxious walking in the door because of what I had done to my poor hair. Stylist/owner Kim Ochoa took me under her wing so that I left feeling and looking 100% better! Before I went to Neve, I had damaged my hair over the past three years with several home bleach attempts, and awful DIY cuts. I felt so ashamed of my hair that I didn't want to go to a salon in Santa Cruz, my hometown, but I finally decided to give Neve a try during our annual family trip to Tahoe. lauren is literally the best hairdresser in town for curly hair. she’s done so much of her own personal research that isn’t taught in beauty school, and knows how to make curls look defined and bouncy. no hate to other salons in Truckee, but most of them only know how to work with straight hair, which has always left me with frizzy uneven curls after washing out the blowout, but the haircut lauren gave me lets the curls form themselves beautifully without even using heatServices: Hairstyling
