I'm in love with my hair cut and the service was awesome. I had been having trouble finding a stylist who was proficient with short pixies/ mens cuts (and I didn't want to go to a barbershop), so I am really glad I booked with Katy because she nailed it! This is also the only salon in town I know of that will do vivid and fun hair colors, so that's a huge bonus for those of us who like to do something a little wild every now and then.

There's a reason why Katy McClure has been voted Best of Tahoe five times! She is not only an innovative colorist (more about this below) but also a licensed hairstylist with over 22 years of experience.Truckee is lucky to have her. I found her a few years ago and often refer her to my friends when they ask, "Who did your hair?" If another hairdresser tells me it's impossible to do something (like color my black hair blond), Katie will execute it beautifully with a smile.I also appreciate how intuitive she is. Often, I go in with an idea that isn't fully formed. I'll say I want this and that ...Most hairdressers will get frustrated, but not Katy. She listens, accurately deciphers what I'm reallly trying to say, then always uplifts my spirits, elevates my mood self-esteem and confidence by the time I walk out of her saloon.Services: Updos
