5 Week Adult Beginner Jiu Jitsu Course review:
Let me start off by saying that I am 40 years old and I never expected I would be getting into jui jitsu at my age. My son has been practicing jui jitsu for about 6 months and it got me interested, so this 5 week course was a perfect way to give it a try!
The instructors are welcoming and highly skilled, they taught me the fundamentals needed to continue on my journey with confidence! This beginning course has taught me some self-defense skills, along with providing me with the best work out of my life...mentally and physically challenging. This is so much better than going to the gym, because it offers more to learn during the workout. I would highly recommend this course to anyone with an interest in self-defense, jui jitsu or anyone just looking for a new way to exercise! I have now signed up to take regular classes and I love it! And my son does too, which is fun! Thank you to everyone at Open Mat!
Amazing place with a great, family-like environment! My whole family goes to OpenMat Academy, and we absolutely love it. The staff is fantastic, especially with the kids—supportive, welcoming, and professional. The facility has all the amenities you need and truly feels like a second home for the whole family.
Special shout-out to Coach Mo and Coach Aby—you guys are awesome! Highly recommend OpenMat Academy!
