I just want to give a shoutout to Marissa for going ABOVE AND BEYOND today to help me get a 40lb bag of cat litter into my car. I am 39 weeks pregnant and I didn't even have to ask for assistance. She automatically asked me if she could help. It really made my day. It also made my experience at the store safer. Thank you!
Not sure why it this place doesn't get a higher rating, we really like it. We just got a little puppy and this is the go to place for us. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is well stocked, clean, and spacious. In addition to the retail space, they also have grooming, training, pet hotel, and pet hospital! Tip: the grooming folks recommended us to get the Puppy Guide, it was $20 (in a locked storage that you need to ask them to get for you), and it has all kinds of coupons and free services. We started saving with things we needed right away. Parking: never a problem, easy access on both Hawthorn and Sepulveda. The Petsmart on PCH is pretty good, also, but much smaller and depending on where you live, it's a little harder to get in and out.
This place did a great job of caring for my doggy. It's clean, friendly, strict on dog wellness + niceness. U will need your vaccination papers from your vet (must have gotten shots at least 48hrs before stay date) + your dog must be flea-free. They will run a flea comb thru your dog's hair to check! And will do a quick look at your dog, put a leash loop over their head to check dog's temperament/attitude. They can't have aggressive or biting dogs. It's ok if they're a little fearful or food guarding as they will be staying + fed in their own little room. They will exercise/play with a group of similar dogs each day unless u specify otherwise.
