Heard great things about Hua. I called the salon and was instructed to text the stylist directly. I did that and received no response. Figuring he was busy I left a message as well. Still no response. The professional thing to do would have been to respond. Even if you're not taking clients.

Hau is utterly delightful!! He has mad skill with the scissors! (He trained at Vidal Sassoon Academy.) My hair is very difficult -- I have cowlicks and swirls and sections where it's thick and curly and other sections where it's thinner and straighter. It could be a hairstylist's nightmare but Hau took it on! He had TOTAL ATTENTION TO DETAIL, examining each section as he went,paying attention to what my hair does naturally. That means he gave me a haircut that I can just shake and go. And, get this: After I played with my hair for a few days, I decided that I wanted it shorter around the neckline so I texted him and he told me to come in that same day. When I arrived I apologized and told him I hoped I wasn't too much of a nuisance, he was totally welcoming and didn't give me any attitude. I am a tough customer and Hau impressed me. BRAVO, HAU!!!

My son and I have been Tuyen's and Shin's customers for many years and followed them to several salons. Duc Duc Salon is a great location, has the right ambiance and great stylists. My personal experience is of course only with those two, but it feels great to visit the salon.
