So, Xan-Man and I hit up Del Wee to get some fresh haircuts for the holidays. We ended up looking like “twinsies” by the time we left ?. But let me tell you, it wasn’t just about the haircuts.Lila, has cut my hair a number of times over the last few years. We chatted about everything - how my dad passed away earlier this year. She used to cut his hair before his dementia got too bad. I mentioned Xander’s recent T1D diagnosis and how it'd been a tough year. She felt so bad about everything. Great! Between 1999 and 2007 I got cut up there every month. It's been since May 8th of 2007 since I was in there. Two of the same ladies are there. I remember that because it was the morning after the great fighter Diego Corrales was killed in Las Vegas due to a motorcycle accident.

I am the caretaker of a gentleman that has gone to this Barber Shop for 4 years now. He see's a Polish barber. She is fantastic!! While I'm in there, I watch the 3 ladies cut men and little boys hair. They all are really great. And they have a lollipop ? jar for the boys. Very fun.
