My experiences with City of Hope were by far my best healthcare experiences of my life. Upon arrival, I was greeted by very sweet and welcoming Tiffany, who went above and beyond making me feel welcomed, informed of what to expect and appreciated. I also had similar excellent experiences with Marisela also at the reception desk and from nurse Karina. Dr. Nguyen by far exceeded my expectations in many ways. He was extremely patient and listened to everything I said, asking questions for clarity in between, making me feel very informed, safe and no longer worried about the upcoming surgery. I’ve been escorting my elderly mother here for radiation treatment. Everyone we’ve dealt with have been kind, compassionate, patient and filled with joy. They treat my mom with such respect and kindness every single time she comes in.
My mother is a patient of Dr. Lorena Gonzalez and she is hands-down one of the best in the area. She is an intelligent doctor that is detail oriented and has amazing follow through. Her dedication and persistence helped get my mother’s cancer diagnosed. Her compassion towards her patients and how much she cares is evident in her actions and how she treats her patients. Doctors like her are hard to come by and my mom knows she is fortunate to be under her care.
