While some employees praise the company's nice staff, cool security guards, and efficient operations, others express frustration with the Motive Driver Log System and the lack of facilities for drivers. Some drivers have to deal with pressure and defective apps, while others have to wait for loading assignments or face poor restroom conditions. Despite these issues, the company's employees are generally nice and helpful, and some customers have had positive experiences with their services.
The young man at the guard shack was really nice and the shipping guys were fast at getting us loaded. We got here a day early so we just parked on the side of the road and slept overnight.
The company is Great! We work hard, I try to get the drivers arrange export deliveries on time so we keep our Customers Happy but Spur Freight is a Pain, drivers are getting frustrated with the Motive Driver Log System, we have to take care of the recoveries and deliveries in a rush due to the importance of most of our shipments. And now we have someone who is watching all movements with cameras in the truck's cabin, calling drivers while they're trying to perform their duties in record time... this app is kind of defective seems that Spur is against our driver's policy to do our job accurate without pressure. ?????. Everyone here was nice enough and once I got a door, loading was fairly quick. I did have to wait several hours to get assigned a door though. It wouldn't have been terrible except they don't let drivers use their restroom.They have a Porta potty that apparently they don't bother to service at all. I mean seriously, it's the worst I've ever seen. No way could it be used. I guess they don't consider drivers to be human beings.
