It is very convenient that UCLA satellite healthcare facilities is near to you. For those who want or need to consult the doctor who teaches in prestigious institutions such as UCLA Medical School, you are in the right place. The satellite offices spread around Thousand Oaks in the west to Calabasas/Woodland Hills with many specialist. Some specialist are located as wide spread as in Burbank and Saugus.Let me point out the obvious CONs why I rate this institution a bit lower ranking than I may have:(1) scheduling is a "beach"! I have been patient of UCLA Health just after they came to the Conejo Valley. I have seen a number of different doctors in several specialties and have been treated with kindness and concern. My questions are answered clearly and they will repeat answers when I seem to not understand. The portal allows me to ask questions outside having to come into the office. And if it requires a bigger explanation or examination, they reach out to tell me to come in. I am glad to have such excellent doctors and medical services available.

Seems to be overwhelmed with workflow as it’s difficult to schedule time and none of my messages are responded to by Dr McCarthy, always staff/nurses even medical procedure follow up.As a PCP, I’m not of the mind my care is not being managed, it’s often left to me to follow up, as Dr McCarthy seems to be more reactive than proactive.
