They will call you back after you reach out to them. A young intern type will ask you a lot of questions to determine if they want to engage you. I was told they do not want to simply do my tax return, they are looking for a much bigger client that owns their own business or is a big baller. I never got a call back or email after that even though I do own a business. Really nice phone conversation, but they never engaged after that.

I found Jacobs & Jacobs after an online search of local accountants in Thousand Oaks. They had good reviews so I decided to set up a consultation. They set up a phone call with Massimo to help me out with a financial issue related to stock options from my former employer. Massimo has always been an utmost professional - he has listened to all of my concerns, always offering honest and helpful advice. We were able to get my issues with the IRS sorted and we have come back since to continue filing our taxes with him. There was even a follow up bill related to the same issue mentioned before, and Massimo was able to spot an error the IRS made, cutting our amount owed in half! A couple quick notes: I was not paid for, nor did I receive any kind of discount in exchange for this review. I'm a real human and this is actually my firsthand experience! I say this because all these reviews start to sound the same and generally fake over time, but I am an actual real person! While Massimo did politely request I write a review, I was more than happy to (of my own volition), since he has been such a great resource. I'm glad to help more people learn of his excellent services!

I've been a satisfied client of Jacobs and Jacobs for the past five years. For the past three years I have been working with Massimo Batista and I am more than satisfied with his service, knowledge and professionalism. I would recommend him and this firm to anyone!
