Dave Ormonde is a superb builder and a fine human being. You will enjoy working with Dave. He is the first contractor I've met that just sharpens his pencil and gives you exact numbers on pricing, and then he sticks to them. HIs build quality is excellent and he caught several engineering issues (e.g. undersized beams) during construction. He built our custom house (2600s.f.) in the hills west of Atascadero in 2006. Best builder in the county.

Dave is currently building our house in Paso Robles and we could not be happier. We very rarely review the professionals that we hire so this is a bit unusual for us. We met Dave about a year before we began construction (he was highly referred by a friend), and was absolutely indispensable during the process with the architect and engineers. He saved us tens of thousands of dollars during that troublesome process. His ability to estimate costs is peerless; we came to rely on his guidance in order to stay true to our initial budget.
