It took me some time to write a review about my experience with Rainbow Acupuncture. I wanted to make sure I jot down all the important details of my experience. I initially sought treatment to manage my stress and childhood trauma, as well as to support the healing process after being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s. I’ve also been dealing with tinnitus for the past six years. The morning of my appointment, I woke up early and grounded myself, trying to release as much energy as I could. A large part of me wanted to heal, but there was a small part that doubted if this would actually work. This was my first time seeing an acupuncturist, so I had no idea what to expect. During the session, after Dr. Liu placed the needles, she asked me to relax and listen to the music. Honestly, that was difficult for me because my mind is always racing, and it’s hard for me to shut it off. A few minutes in, I unexpectedly started tearing up. Dr. Liu came in to check on me, and when I told her about the tears, she grabbed a tissue to wipe my tears and reassured me that it was normal, especially with trauma I experienced. We talked for a bit, and she asked me why I chose her and how I found her. Before I could say much, I suddenly began to cry harder than I have in years. I felt my chest rising, but my body stayed still. In that instant, it was as if I was reliving all my trauma, with every painful memory being released. It felt like I experienced every thing in half a second. It felt like the universe was pushing the trauma out of me, finally giving me the release I needed. All I remember was Dr. Liu telling me to let it out. I felt a warm sensation in my throat and chest area. It was the most spiritual experience I’ve ever had. After my first session, my wife and I discussed our experiences, and she looked into the throat and heart chakras, which seemed to explain the warm sensations I was feeling. I resonated deeply with the meanings behind those chakras, especially as they relate to why I sought acupuncture in the first place. By the second session, it was easier to focus on the music and allow my body to relax. I’ve since completed three sessions so far. Dr. Liu is truly incredible! After doing my research, I made the drive from Banning to Temecula (just to put things into perspective), and it was completely worth it. I’m excited to continue my healing journey with Rainbow Acupuncture. Thank you so much, Dr. Liu. Words can’t fully capture your kindness or the impact you’ve had thus far. Rainbow is the absolute best! She has now treated myself for an autoimmune disorder, my husband for his back pain, my son (7) for allergies and now my daughter (10) for an ongoing cough. She shows care and compassion at every appointment and makes you feel like family. I’ve referred her to anyone and everyone that will listen to me because she has absolutely changed my life. I suffer from lower back issues. A few weeks ago I threw my back out doing a simple reach. I could not stand or walk without assistance. I scheduled an acupuncture appointment with Rainbow acupuncture for acupuncture and cupping. I had never been before and was skeptical. After my first visit my pain went from a 8/10 to a 4/10. After my second appointment my pain went down to a 2/10. I was very surprised with my results. This is a wonderful, clean, peaceful facility. Liu is very caring and takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable with your treatment. She is a true miracle worker. So happy and grateful that I found her and her practice.
