I just purchased this adorable swivel chair for $85 including tax, from this store a few days ago. I own an AirBnB STR house in Temecula Wine Country, and wish I knew about this store before, when I was furnishing it, 3 years ago. A few days ago, they had several mid-century style pieces of furniture that were new. Seems like most of the furniture are manufacturer closeouts, or dent and scratches, This Habitat ReStore amazes me, because it is in a nice modern industrial building, which I have never seen Habitat occupy. The others I have been to , are in the oldest most run down buildings in low rent areas. However, as nice as this building is, you look way up at the ceiling, there is no AC or other cooling system. It was over 100 degrees when I bought this chair, outside temp. They leave the front door open for the breeze but you feel all the hot air, that is hotter than the temp inside the building. The employee at the cash register, near the open door where all the hot air was coming in, said "Yep, no AC". But if you didn't have air circulating, even hot air, it would be a greater hotter oven. They have a separate room, where they sell small stuff, not even related to building or home stuff, like I saw bike helmets the last time I came. This part of the store has AC. It has a low ceiling. The thing about this store, the things they sell here are newer, and not used and sometimes broken and chipped, like the other Habitat ReStores have. And the donations come from manufacturers, commercial, or retail stores, rather than private donors or homeowners who "got a new piece and are donating the old".

I stopped by to see what they had to offer plus I do like supporting their worthy cause. The place is huge, clean, and brightly lit. I was greeted nicely by a young man at the counter as I entered. I grabbed a cart and went into the little store they have to the left. I found a few items in there for purchase. The young man who greeted me asked that if I needed help with anything to come & get him. I pretty much found everything I needed. Nice customer service! Then I came out to the area where they were selling Christmas items. I scored some pillows that were $6 each while the one with Dec 25 was $4. There are vanities, floor tiles, area rugs, lighting, and furniture all at great prices. I bought a few of the toys for Toys-for-Tots. I made my purchases that totaled to about $50+ and was checked out by a nice & friendly young man. What a nice change from before! I think I will return and buy more toys! Plus I know their inventory changes do it's always a nice surprise when you visit.

I'm a big fan. They always have lots of new items, including furniture, sinks, flooring. Sometimes they have appliances. The prices are very reasonable & it's supporting a good cause.
