“The team at Steele and Co. Woodworks transformed my tired old kitchen into a masterpiece. Everyone was surprised at how quickly the job was done and how lovely it turned out. Working with Terri was a breeze. We maintained excellent communication throughout the process and everything was executed well. If you’re lucky enough to have Javier work on your cabinets you will be treated to a level of craftsmanship that is rare these days. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment from my new kitchen.”

Golden State home repair and renovations

“We first hired Golden State to do a complete gut and remodel of our master bathroom in our early 2000’s home and the results were beautiful! We then hired them again to redo the backsplash in our kitchen in our new build, and again the results are stunning! Not only are the results exactly what we wanted, but they are tidy, courteous, respectful and true craftsmen. They protected the rest of our home from dust and footprints and they cleaned up after themselves everyday. Our kitchen tile had a complicated pattern with natural stone so it was tricky to work with, but they did a wonderful job. They also have high standards for their own work. There have never been surprise price increases or anything shady. We’ve recommended them to everyone we know and we won’t work with anyone else!”

The Refined Craftsman

21745 Elm St, Murrieta

“We recently had custom cabinets installed in my 82-year-old mother-in-law’s kitchen, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the work done by The Refined Craftsman, owned by Dave Span. From start to finish, Dave and his team were exceptional. They truly listened to what we wanted in the final design and offered thoughtful, practical suggestions that made the outcome even better than we’d imagined.

Dave was incredibly patient throughout the process, especially as we had many questions and occasional changes of mind. Working with an elderly family member can sometimes present unique communication challenges, but Dave handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and respect. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the end result is both beautiful and functional.

We’re so grateful for the care and attention brought to this project—highly recommend!”
