I really like this place! It's clean, the sheets are crisp and fresh, and the bathroom is clean, the rooms are private. I always find parking, and find the front desk staff very polite and helpful. I currently get weekly massages from Nuch, she does deep tissue massage on me and is very willing to adjust pressure and style to what I need. I keep coming back because she is very in tune to what I need, and puts her whole heart into her work. She actually seems to care about how I feel, and has amazing technique. She helps me deal with very severe muscle and spinal issues- she can really give a medical massage, but she does American style deep tissue, and Thai Massage too. She is really gifted. I think communication is key in a massage, so if you can speak up and share if you need less or more pressure, or ask for more time in a certain area- I think you would be very happy at the Massage Place. I am sure other therapists are very good too, as the other patrons look very happy when they come out of their massage too. Also I've had other very talented male and female massage therapists here over the years, so I would try others too. It's moderately priced-not the cheapest ,not the most expensive. I like to plan on a good tip, the same as at a more expensive studio because the therapists are not making what an independent therapist would make. And if you don't have cash it's easy to add it to your card. I also appreciate that I just need to notify the day before if I need to cancel or change a time which I think is fair. Love this place! They have evening massages and are open until 10pm and they can get me in most nights within 2-4 hours of calling for last minute massage. Never had a bad massage and have used many different therapists. Great for those days you didn't plan on being in pain. Appreciate the great hours and quick appts.
I have been going to The Massage Place Encino for more years than I like to admit. My current favorite masseuse is Fara. I had been seeing her in Encino, but now she is in Tarzana. So, I finally made it to Tarzana yesterday!I was IMPRESSED with this space! It is much more spacious than Encino. I have never had a problem with the size of the Encino location, but after seeing the size of the lobby and rooms here - wow! I will be back. It is also closer to my apartment, I believe.The receptionist, Christina, was so nice from time of booking and in person.
