I've been going to this Salon since back when it was GK Salon! Karen J has been doing my hair since the mid-1980s. Yes..through perms, all different hair lengths and now keeping the gray at bay, although I am sporting a natural gray streak in the front that I love. I can sit in her chair and say do whatever it needs or whatever you feel like and because she knows me and my hair so well, I don't have to worry at all. I always get compliments on my color and cut. Karen J is The Best!!! Now, I also see Diane Marie for my facials. She's been taking care of my skin for years and years and it's just like with Karen J above. I lie down and say do what my skin needs and there is complete trust in her skills and knowledge. Diane Marie is constantly upgrading her skills, obtaining additional certifications to offer all kinds of treatments, and now eyebrow microblading and eyelash lifts. She is so meticulous, professional and friendly. Monique's is very lucky to have these two ladies with them. I must give a special shout out to Jessica. I feel I'm a bit high maintenance about how I need to do my appointments and she just works it out with me without issue. Thank you girl. And we must give a shout out to Most-Excellent-Manager Fred - he is the BEST.
How I appreciate the free parking in their lot, monitored by an attendant as parking in this area can be tricky. The spaces are clearly marked making parking a breeze. Everyone I've encountered here has been friendly. Must give Five Stars for Wendy! She's prompt, reliable, sweet and very, very talented. I can be picky and I just love the way she blow drys my hair. Her styling lasts easily a week and it looks great everyday. Highly recommend!
This review is for Lisa Koh and only Lisa. I have never seen anyone else at the salon. I've been seeing Lisa for well over 20 years. She's always meticulous and very professional. My hair always looks fabulous after her expert cuts and blow outs. I highly recommend Lisa, especially for long, thick and difficult hair. As for all the feedback from Groupon buyers, I'm truly surprised. On the other hand, hair is not the place to search for a bargain, ladies!
