I’ve been meaning to post this review for a while. Jo is the absolute best, a real gem! I had a handful of fittings leading up to the wedding, bc I kept losing a little weight each time. She made sure I felt good about it the whole way, and my dress fit like a glove. I had her add in thin spaghetti straps for later in the evening, and they came out perfect. She held onto my dress and veil until just a few days before the wedding so I had somewhere safe to keep it. She is amazing at what she does, highly recommend to everyone in the area!
Jo is awesome and an incredible seamstress!! I agree with a 10 star rating!! I had an alteration that I needed for a wedding, and of course I waited until the last minute. Jo was kind enough to agree to a last minute rush, and talented enough to get my alteration done on short notice with excellent results. Also, her prices are incredibly reasonable. She reminds me of my mom, she is witty and has a lot of character. She does play it straight, no BS...she runs a tough ship and that's why she gets the job done with awesome results. I had a very expensive, designer pair of slacks that needed tailoring and the result is amazing. And, I disagree with any post that says Jo is anything other than respectful, perhaps some people may just be too sensitive for Jo's no nonsense style, so if you are running late without calling or miss an appointment, maybe Jo is not for you, but Jo worked a miracle for me, and I will definitely use her again!!
Jo is a gem! She tailored my wedding dress and my husband’s wedding shirt, plus made bandanas for our pups out of the material taken off my dress. For the most reasonable cost… I even tried to offer more. She is the quirkiest, loveliest seamstress. She’s also done a bunch of friend’s wedding gowns. Her work is consistently beautiful and timely.She’s also unapologetically herself and I celebrate that! I’m grateful I took the advice of friends to work with her over a few sour reviews.
