We were referred to Leah to help us with our first adopted rescue, a 4 year old mixed pitbull. The dog was really sweet and loveable except for having no leash training (pulled constantly) and would try to attack family members when they came over, our cats and any other being, squirrels, other dogs, etc... when we went on walks. Leah came to our home to help us work on each of these issues, and taught us so much about what was going on with the dog, how to modify the behaviors, etc. She was awesome!! Patient, clear, personable, a great communicator. I would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with behavioral issues, or just if you're seeking a great trainer for your dog.
Our hound doggies love to come here & esp. love the people who take such good care of them for us. It's their favorite place for a canine vacay!!!
In 1998, I brought my unruly, hyperactive border collie mix to be trained with Jim Canino. Within weeks, my dog, Rex, was so much more calm and relaxed - I had 15 of the greatest pet years I could ever imagine with Rex before I lost him in 2013 - and I credit the wise instruction of Jim Canino for all those wonderful years.
