Sunnyvale MAA is so much more than a martial arts after-school activity for our family. It has become a true community that we are incredibly grateful to be a part of.
From the very first visit, something felt different here. Nearly three years ago, I had explored another martial arts studio in Sunnyvale, and the experience felt impersonal and it just didn't feel like a place where my kids would truly belong. Sunnyvale Martial Arts Academy has truly been a second home for our family. Our child began their journey at just 5 years old in the Little Dragons program under KJN Jian, and it has been amazing to watch them grow into a confident blue belt under the guidance of KJN Khang. The martial arts training here has played a huge role in building our child’s confidence while also teaching important life skills like confidence, respect, and discipline. We love attending the annual black belt shows every year, they are inspiring, exciting, and a true celebration of the hard work the students put in.
