Vera’s Sanctuary is a GODSEND. They helped me get clean. I learned skills to help control my emotions. They gave me the tools to do life sober. When my time was up, I didn’t want to go home. It’s a beautiful, sacred place in a remote area of Orange County. You’re surrounded by trees and mountains. The landscaping is gorgeous. They even have a pool you can swim in during the summer. The food is great. I cannot say enough about the staff. They provide the support and care women need to get sober and stay sober. I have two years clean and sober! This place saved my life! The staff are wonderful, I was safe I was cared for and I always tell any young woman in need this could be the place for them! They need to have an open mind. I have friendships today with other girls I met with in the program and there is a handful of us who have gotten our life together, it was this place that brought us together to stick together !! Please if you need a safe place to get off the street and get clean and start working your program The Teen Project is for you!

The Teen Project is doing amazing work to help victims of trafficking and provide complete recovery to the addicted. CEO, Lauri Burns lives her passion for saving these ladies every day. She advocates for the helpless and gives them a voice. Bert and Anasheh partner in leadership with Lauri and they are a humble, hardworking team. To change one life is to change the world and this organization is saving many lives!!
