“I've been going to Hot Shots for many years now. Kayla is my colorist and stylist, and she is extremely competent and skilled at her job. She knows her stuff. I often hear her coworkers at this salon ask her for advice or her opinion, and she is always quick and confident with her answers. She listens and pays attention to my preferences, but she also gives her honest professional opinion when needed. Everytime I come in for my haircut and color, I always get compliments on my hair from complete strangers that I come across at places where I stop by to run errands on my way home. Never fails! People stop me to tell me how pretty my hair is! Note that I have about 70% to 80% gray hair, and I started coloring it pink about 4 years ago, and I've maintained it till now. It's a tricky color to pull off, but whatever Kayla does with my hair, it's always sure to make heads turn. And even weeks after my salon visit, I still get compliments, even from men!“

Never had a facial before & was curious to see what Jessie could do for my skin (2nd photo is before the facial). Jess explained why she was using the products she chose for me as she applied them - I wasn't expecting a lesson in skincare but was super stoked to have recieved it! I was given a double cleanse, mask, and pH balanced toner. There were a couple extractions performed but I barely felt them. Finished off with a massage, then moved on to the waxing. 1st photo is how I look in direct sunlight one day after the facial.

Wax, Brow Lamination & Tint ☆☆☆☆☆
I grew my brows out for a month before the appointment (3rd picture for reference.) My tails are sparse so I opted for a tint as well. I love the results (4th picture) & wish I started getting this done sooner! If you're curious, I suggest trying it out. All I did was brush my brows into place and set them with a brow gel. I saved so much time getting ready for work today. Incredible.

Emily was referred to me by a friend. Emily is a great stylist. She keeps up with trends, is friendly, and is very talented. If you ask her if a style will look good, she is honest and supportive of trying new things. She will tell you if something is not a great fit if you don't want to change your routine or if its's not flattering. Her prices are reasonable and her customer service is great. As for the actual salon, it's very clean. They have some upgraded amenities to make your time there feel elevated but never snooty. The stylists and other pros have a nice rapport. Very welcoming establishment. Emily and the cute salon vibe make driving 25 miles to my haircut worth it.“
